That’s exactly how I used to do my hips, I used to use a long piece of tongue and groove and just go up nice and straight
Couldn’t agree more
totally agree.. spot on work..
Something about these guys which make it so incredibly easy to understand but at the same time entertaining and very instructional. A lot of this stuff you only learn on site and this is providing people with a real good depth of knowledge! Keep it up guys! Awesome! Thanks, Marc

Good call mate, I’m a plumber in Australia and theirs a real class system when it comes to trades. Roof tilers are known to be pretty rough when it comes to quality and skill. This fella is a absolute pro and great example of a master tradesmen. A&E are a class above. ?
absolutely perfect video, and well done work, Greeting from Algeria!!!
Thanks for watching Hemissi ??
Great find this, looking forward to how one address cracks on morter at sides of hips
Top roofer mate. Love to see a video on lead flashing around a stack. Keep these top videos coming ?
Despite the fancy ladder arrangement, on insulation pad, he still walked on the tiles in his boots ! That’s how brittle drainage channels get broken and tiles hair line cracked. Plus these look like ‘ Rosemary’ tiles – even worse for cracking .
Any Unibond in water mix or waterproof additive? Always advisable on the most exposed part of a roof.
Great job, must kill your back and knees!??

Hi Isabel hope you are all well, glad you enjoyed the video, have a awesome weekend and stay safe all the best Tony ?
Nice neat job guys. We always use a t&g board as a guide. Just sit your side of the ridge on the tonge and then remove the board when you have bedded the last 1 then point up.
Amazing craftsmanship from great artisans with A&E.
Thank you for the kind words as always Maria, have an awesome weekend ?
