Those bundles are about 80lbs each. That’s 320lbs going up that ladder. I have to say that is extremely impressive strength.
LJ 727 and way better than landmarks. I’ve used every dimensional shingle they make and durations are by far the best. Landmarks are a little heavier by the bundle but they’re not as durable. They’re soft and the grit comes off and they scar easier.

Those bundles are about 60ish pounds each lol you dont start getting heavy until you’re at Landmarks or presidentials lol

I’ve done 3 up two story’s, and that was enough for me. Even then I was worried about the ladder giving out. I went back to 2 bundles, which was the minimum according to the boss.
I’m a Roofer I do this every day. And there is no dam way I would do this. I’m 42 years old and I want my back to work in 10 years.

@Jeffery Goodrich I’ve been roofing 9 years only loaded 2 roofs, I do about 100 houses a year that way. Manufacturers load the roof for like 300$.

Save your back and knees and invest in a shingle lift. Gas or electric would out lift any of you in a day.
We got one this year when we roofed an 18 on 12 pitches A-frame. It’s saved our asses.
@Happ Felagi why would you hand bomb? It cost more to pay hourly than it does to pay the $50 it cost for the delivery up to the roof. Not to mention it takes way longer
