Is this a joke? Go climb a ladder on a real roof outside with the conditions and see how it’s really done. And what you trying to do impair everyone’s breathing with indoor hot tar??

Just had Hy Grade Roofing install a metal roof at my house. Worst decision I could have made. They promised to install the roof in 4-6 weeks, of course they were late. When they finally showed up without the proper equipment and damaged my property. They are really proud of the “Quality Audit” that they do, but of course they won’t give you a copy of the audit…lol BTW -the “Quality Audit” they did at my house consisted of 2 guys coming over to pickup the leftover junk they left at my house for a month. They never even went up on the roof! Save your money use someone else!

Tar too cold and mop man must be rookie. No flow ahead of roll.whwn he rolls out rolls. Tar must be deep enough to see a flow in front while it rolls out . Mop man barely out down any tar ,this is a crap roof systym in first place . I used to do polyester polymax 3 ply and coat in tar and later paint with aluminum paint. Great 50 year roof. I see my jobs from 30 years ago we did and roofs are doing great still.

Did not start in the drain, Dry moped, Voids in the asphalt, Did not wipe in the cants with hand, Foot roofed it, Walked on the felts, Walking on any sheet displaces the asphalt……Demonstrations are tough no excuse for being poor

I use the hot asphalt or bitumen as we call it in England ?? ??????? asphalt to us is a different product to this… even so we do the system so different and have done for many years. Keep that fella off the mop and stick him back on the pot for a while ? we would laugh them boys off site….

@JR Luis you ain’t splashing nobody what he’s saying is you pump mop in buggy 4 or 5 times to soak up as much asphalt as you can doing that mop runs smooth on surface no scrubbing like this guy is doing and you wanna put heavy asphalt where he’s gonna lay role so he can adjust easier once you lay role on roof the roles way 50lbs plus a role so you gotta put enough for him to maneuver role

Theirs a lot to say about this tutorial.. keeping it short: I for one believe the speaker/instructor has technical knowledge however his roofers, where they may have been doing what was asked.. however they displaded poor workmanship…
