How to Build a Metal Fence – Corrugated Roofing
You'll need a metal cutting blade like this one:
BE very careful and wear gloves and eye protection when cutting. Hot sparks and metal shavings come off while cutting.

Excellent job! I will be coping your work.
Great work. That aside, I really like the pond. I can only imagine how much you enjoy the view and the breeze
I was going to do this by my pool but I was concerned about the glare, the fence will be 6 feet from pool.
Have your experienced any issues with glare?
1981menso you can “rust the metal” and you won’t get a glare plus it looks nice
I didn’t want a glare either and that’s why I treated the metal with toilet bowl cleaner to let the acid eat away the shine. Made a video on that process as well.
Great Video, I wonder how much does it cost to do a Matel that rusts for every panel?
You missed the “How to” part there bud.
Yep..I’ve never been good at setting up cameras before I do work. Never good at changing into work clothes either! Haha
dude that fence is my dream fence. awesome work
That looks pretty good man! Nice work! Would’ve been nice to see some of the how to steps instead of just the after results. How is the fence holding up against wind gusts and such?
I agree. It’s always so hard for me to slow down and video while I’m doing projects. I agree with you though. Holding up great against the wind and we get some good gusts coming across the pond.
Great work! I’m curious about the fare opening. Do you have any pictures or video of that section?
I actually have another video about the gate itself. Look in my video list and you see it.
Looks good! Great work!!
Great job!
This looks amazing. Thank you very much for the video. How much did this cost you?

Thanks! Great question and sadly I’m not sure! You could easily look up the materials on HomeDepot’s website though to figure out the prices. Sorry I could t help more
I prefer to build with Woodprix plans.
Looks good
What was the cost of this project?
Great question. I’m not sure what the cost was but it should be easy enough to check material prices online. There was 7 posts, 30-2x6x12’, 5-2x4x12’ and 15-2’x12’ sheets of metal
How big are the metal sheets 2 x 15 feet?
I used 12ft length and cut them in half. 2ft wide
What type of wood did you use?
Pressure treated pine
I am looking into building the same fence and I like your design do much I am going to use it. I was a little concerned about the 12 foot sections and curious about how are they holding up? I was considering 6 foot sections but if I could save the money I would love to do 12
I originally was going to do 6ft as well but not wanting to dig the holes in my rocky soil I went to 12 which I liked visually much better. It’s holding up great against wind, etc. no issues
Around how much was all materials together?
I honestly don’t know as I didn’t keep track. Sorry
So how high was your fence. looking the comments it seems 12f but doesnt look that high. maybe 6 foot high panels? 8 foot high posts (we’ll 8 foot above ground 3-4f under?
You are correct!
sorry i re watched it i see you cut the 12′ sheets in half so basically 6′ high sheets. To do you slant you said 71″ and 71″, i assume you meant you did 71″ and 73″ because you said you had a 2inch slant.
Looks good! What gauge metal did you end up using?
Great question. Sad to say I have no idea! It was the stock sheets that they sell at both Home Depot and Lowes. Price was cheaper at Lowes but HomeD has less white galvanized residue on them which is what I wanted.
