[ROOFERS SECRET] How Do Roofers Walk On Steep Roofs?

If you've ever wondered how you can walk on a steep roof without falling off, like roofers and painters do, here are 3 secrets on how to do it safely.

TIP: Using any of these 3 products is not a replacement for safe practices. Even the best safety equipment is useless if you're not "being" safe on a steep roof. In other words, "Don't be dumb."

@Matthew Moore Yes a few times. Did you read my answer? You were talking about the expensive Ridge Pro which is NOT NEEDED. I said that we use a hook attached to a pole which does a better job and costs almost nothing.

Darren, for an inaccessible roof, I will use my drone to inspect it. Something like tile is definitely a drone inspection. Same for a high and steep shingle roof, IF the damage is severe. But if the damage is not easy to see from a drone, I want to be on the roof so I can feel the potential hail bruises. That’s why – although I have and use a drone – I don’t think that drones will replace real people as roof inspectors 100% of the time.
      Great question!
