The primitive way of roofing a 10-12
Thank you for taking great care of your crew. The man with the mustache seems like a genuine gentleman!
Aww im disappointed with my misreading. I thought it was hoofs instead of roofs
That tar paper was LEGIT!
PNW, shout out to Seattle/Olympia…where my GF is from, love that part of the country. We tear it up hiking every time we go visit her folks 😎
Beautiful!!!
@Mr. Legit Roofing Expert Yeah it is…My GF has an older sister that lives in between Calgary, Canada and Banff…you wanna talk beauty, that is as good as it gets!!!
It’s beautiful up here my man!
What’s that app on your phone to determine roof slope ?
It’s pitch guage.
You’re not supposed to staple on underlayment
Great video. Do you metal roofs? Was wondering if you can give me tips for accessing a 8 or a 10/12 tin roof on a two story house. Safety equipment, ladders, hooks, anchors, any information/gear you can share would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Give me a job I need to feed my baby! I’ll do it all
They should make osb with the friction paper
Why would you worry about putting your name on the felt paper when it’s going to be covered up with shingles
Because it cool.
awesome video! the videography itself is impressive! good job man
Thanks man!
What kind of shoes do you recommend for steep roofs brotha? ✊??
No slip boots
Even roofing pros fall off
Using staples on OC underlayment voids OC’s warranty. How do your customers feel about being screwed over like that.
@Mr. Legit Roofing Expert For the record, I am a contractor from Bellingham Wa.
I’ll talk to the inspector again. They’ve never called it out and are aware of us using it. Maybe I’ll make it a topic on a video because I rarely see anyone using button caps up here.
@Mr. Legit Roofing Expert The fact remains, synthetic underlayment is useless when staples are used. Yet you still charge your customers for its use. Also, in Washington state you really should be using an Ice shield per OCs and IRBC requirements.
If there is no shingles and the deck defense leaks from blow off you are correct. But we’ve never had issues with deck defense blowing off.
Plus we have platinum roofs that cover workmanship even if we install the shingles upside and backward, which we wouldn’t that’s why we’re platinum. ??
We like to use couch cushions for the steep sides, surprisingly durable and allow you to keep shingles or yourself from sliding
I’m making a video about it very soon. Stay tuned.
@Mr. Legit Roofing Expert never heard of it, I’ll have to check that out
Thanks for the input, have you tried the pitch hopper?
