The immersion into the environment that you do with your buildings is incredible, and I tried my hand at it with a simple Nordic home (followed a tutorial but edited it a bit), and it’s my favorite build I’ve ever done!! Honestly, messy roofs are so underrated.. Its quite hard to get it right but once you master the technique, you can really apply this style on a lot of building genres 🙂 maybe something to practise on for all yall
Definitely some great styles with messy roofs! I like the cleaner styles and having multiple different pieces, like windows, to break up the roofs since it’s a bit quicker to build 🙂

i’d really love to see a more whimsical type of build in the woods, sorta like a lil hobbit hole or dwarf house like u mentioned. i’d just really like some inspiration for that style because i really like it !
A video about “bringing life” to your city would be really cool, having a bit of trouble with that in my world right now
It’s all about capturing movement. Imagine you take a still picture of a real city. You would see people and cars and things in motion. So make things like cranes and carts in the middle of transferring goods. Also add smoke plumes to chimneys and details like that. Adding life is all in the small details

yeah i’ve been able to build mostly ok houses., but they all looked bad because my roofs were horrible, thanks for the help.
